Porto Ferreira

2025 Visual Proposal 

Porto Ferreira is a historic Portuguese wine brand, deeply connected to the Douro region and shaped by the legacy of its most iconic figure — Dona Antónia, a Ferreirinha. Known for her vision, strength, and dedication to the land, she remains the true face and spirit of the brand.

This project began as a challenge: to create a new visual approach for Porto Ferreira’s social media content for 2025.

The creative direction emerged from the essence of the brand itself.
I shaped the proposal around four key pillars:

  • Dona Antónia as the central element, highlighted through a contemporary illustrated portrait that reinforces her presence and character.

  • Visual references to the Douro, reflecting the landscapes, textures and atmosphere that inspired the brand from the beginning.

  • Graphic details drawn from the Quinta do Porto, adding subtle authenticity and grounding the visual language in real heritage.

  • A tone of celebration, sharing and simplicity with sophistication, echoing the spirit of wine and bringing the brand closer to people.

Together, these elements create a renewed visual identity that connects past and present. It preserves the elegance associated with Porto Ferreira while opening space for a warmer, more human and celebratory communication.

Using the information gathered about Porto Ferreira’s heritage, values, and visual universe, the goal was to design a proposal that honoured its roots while bringing a fresh, contemporary expression to the brand’s digital communication.
